Happy Wednesday, crafty friends! Whew! Thank goodness we’re finally in the homestretch of 2020. Like many, I am so ready to put this year behind me and look forward to eventually much better days ahead.
To say this year was a challenge is an understatement. The last two months in particular were especially hard on us as my husband’s meds stopped working for him and his AFib raged out of control for too long. Then when his breathing became extremely difficult he ended up in the hospital where we discovered that he also has pneumonia among a few other things.
He’s been in the hospital for 3 weeks so far. Ugh! And of course with all the Covid protocols these days the hospitals are not allowing any visitors. It’s been difficult being apart for so long. I’m just so grateful that we live in the age of smartphones. At least we can keep in touch via texts and occasional FaceTime visits. We’re hoping he’ll be well enough to come home before too much longer. That would be the best way ever to kick off my new year. Fingers crossed!
On a happier note… Today is challenge day here again at The House. Since we have a bonus Wednesday this month we’re wrapping things up with one of my Sketch Challenges.
